Horses (meat not intended for human consumption): for the prevention and treatment of mange and for infestations with fleas, lice, and ticks. CONTRAINDICATIONS None. ANIMAL SPECIES FOR WHICH THE VMP IS INTENDED Dogs, cats, horses (meat not intended for human consumption). DOSAGE FOR EACH SPECIES, METHOD AND ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION Route of administration: EXTERNAL! To control populations of flying and crawling insects including flies: Spray with a 1:1000 solution (1 L NEOSTOMOSAN concentrate to 1000 L water) at intervals of 2-3 weeks. A single application of the product leads to a significant reduction in the population of flies and insects for a period of 2 to 3 weeks. Horses (meat not intended for human consumption): Wash the animals' bodies with a 1:1000 solution (1 L NEOSTOMOSAN concentrate to 1000 L water). Re-treatment at intervals of 3 days is recommended. Dogs and cats: A solution of 1:400 to 1:200 is required for bathing, dipping, or spraying the animals. In case of flea or louse infestation, the entire body of the animal should be coated, and its kennel should also be sprayed. Ticks die within a few hours. A single application of the product guarantees protection against re-infestation for a period of 2-3 days. If necessary, treatment can be repeated. Treatment against sarcoptic and demodectic mites should be repeated at 10-day intervals until two consecutive skin samples yield negative results. For the treatment of ear mites, the solution should be applied to the lesions on the ear flap. Treat both ears. Repeat the treatment after 7 days. WITHDRAWAL PERIOD Not required. Not permitted for use in horses whose meat is intended for human consumption. SPECIAL STORAGE CONDITIONS FOR THE PRODUCT Store in the original packaging at room temperature (up to 25 C). Special precautions for use by persons administering the product to animals: The product may cause slight irritation to the eyes or mucous membranes if used undiluted, inhaled, or if usage instructions are not followed. Transmix is absorbed by the epidermis of animals, thereby exerting an excellent insecticidal and residual effect in combating insects on animals. Tetramethrin is easily absorbed through the skin and has a rapid insecticidal action on flying insects. One of the excipients – piperonyl-butoxide – enhances the effect of pyrethroids by reducing their photosensitivity (synergistic effect). In addition to the immediate insecticidal effect on ectoparasites, NEOSTOMOSAN concentrate also provides long-lasting protection against re-infestation. The duration of the protective effect depends, to some extent, on the method of treatment and the conditions under which the animals are kept. NEOSTOMOSAN concentrate is effective against a wide range of ectoparasites: flies (Stomoxys calcitrans, Muska domestica, Haematobia irritants, Muska autumnalis, Tabanidae spp.), fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.), lice (Haemetopinus, Damalinia), causative agents of mange (Sarcoptidae, Psoroptidae, Demodicidae) and other ticks (Ixodidae).
