Care+ food for large parrots and cockatoos is ideal for Amazon parrots, South American parrots, and most cockatoos. The food consists of over 97% organic ingredients and combines a highly nutritious blend of seeds, vegetables, nuts, legumes, and fruits. It consists of cold-pressed pellets to ensure they retain their nutritional value. Each pellet has an identical composition, which is important for a balanced diet, preventing selective eating, and ensuring no waste.
Feeding advice: If your bird is on a pelleted diet, mix a small amount of the old food with Beaphar Care+ for a few days. However, if the bird is currently on a seed-based diet, the change should be more gradual; see the enclosed leaflet for more information. The bird's nutritional needs depend on its size, activity, cage temperature, and weather conditions.
Recommended daily intake: small parrots and cockatoos - 20g (2 scoops). Large parrots and cockatoos: 25g (2 ½ scoops). Regularly check the bird's weight to ensure it is eating enough. Always provide fresh drinking water. Beaphar Care+ is a complete food, but it can also be given as a reward or treat.
