Triple enzyme protection: in addition to the enzymes protease and glucose oxidase, Beaphar dental gel and spray also contain a third enzyme - amyloglucosidase. This enzyme breaks down food residues into glucose faster (with toothpaste, this happens naturally), thus accelerating the action of glucose oxidase.
1/ Protease - works against plaque formation by preventing the protein structure from turning into Calcium and then tartar.
2/ Amyloglucosidase - converts starch from food residues into glucose, which acts as fuel for the third enzyme, glucose oxidase. The 3rd enzyme further assists in the more effective conversion of starch into glucose, compared to toothpaste where this happens naturally.
3/ Glucose oxidase - converts glucose into hydrogen peroxide, which kills the bacteria responsible for plaque development.
