The practical "First Aid" soup for your dog! For quick support with unwanted digestive upsets, such as diarrhea. No prolonged cleaning, grating, or chopping!
During long cooking, sugar molecules dissolve from the carrots and settle as a protective film on the irritated intestinal lining. This can block the attachment of unwanted microbes to the intestinal lining. Parsnip has also been added to the easily digestible, vitamin and fiber-rich mixture. Its prebiotic fibers in the form of natural inulin can further bind water in the intestines and contribute to the development of healthy intestinal flora.
Preparation: Mix the ready-made dry carrot and parsnip mixture with ten times the amount of water, simmer for 90 minutes over low heat, and cool to room temperature. If desired, the soup can be pureed, mashed, and diluted with a little water to the desired consistency.
Important! Carrot soup is not a medicine and should never replace a visit to a veterinarian!
Tips:
- You can dilute the soup with fennel or chamomile tea. Both herbs help soothe the gastrointestinal tract.
- It is best to cook a large quantity at once and freeze it in individual portions. This saves time and energy!
