Credelio (lotilaner) are small, palatable chewable tablets administered once a month with or after food*. Completely safe for puppies over 8-9 weeks of age and weighing 1.3 kg, and kittens 8 weeks of age and weighing 0.5 kg.
Credelio has an immediate effect and the ability to kill fleas (Ctenocephalides felis and C. canis) and ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes ricinus, I. Hexagonus, and Dermacentor reticulatus) for 1 month*.
The product can be used as part of a treatment strategy for the control of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).
The onset of efficacy against fleas is within 4 hours of attachment and for one month after product administration. The onset of efficacy against ticks is within 48 hours (8 hours for I. ricinus) of attachment, and for one month after product administration.
