Doppelherz® for Animals Joint Complex is a complementary food for dogs, combining high-quality natural ingredients to support joint metabolism in osteoarthritis:
- Fish and flaxseed oil provide essential omega-3 fatty acids in particularly high concentrations. EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) support inflammatory processes resulting from joint problems.
- Green-lipped mussel powder (Perna canaliculus) is a source of GAGs (glycosaminoglycans), essential omega-3 fatty acids, and chondroitin.
- Natural type II collagen, taken orally, regulates the body's immune system and prevents an inflammatory reaction – immunological tolerance is created.
- Boswellic acids, found in boswellia (Boswellia serrata), have a beneficial effect on inflammatory processes.
The antioxidant vitamin E supports joint metabolism and protects cells from oxidative stress.
Doppelherz® for Animals Joint Complex treats for dogs contain a high percentage of fresh meat (50% turkey) and are free of artificial flavors, grains, and preservatives.
Ingredients: Turkey meat, dried turkey, pea starch, dried chicken, potato starch, glycerin, flaxseed oil, green-lipped mussel powder (4%), apple puree, fish oil (source of EPA), natural type II collagen (total collagen: 0.28%, natural type II collagen: 0.045%), sodium chloride.
Analytical Constituents: Crude protein 21.6%, crude fat 15.7%, crude fiber 1.7%, crude ash 6.7%, moisture 19.5%, omega-3 fatty acids: min. 2.66%, eicosapentaenoic acid min. 0.31%, vitamin E 3000 mg/kg.
Additives per kg: Vitamins: 4690 mg Vitamin E (3a700); flavorings: boswellia extract 6.3 g/kg, rosemary extract (Rosmarinus officinalis).
Key nutritional characteristics: Minimum dry matter content of total omega-3 fatty acids is 3.3% and 0.38% of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). Appropriate content of vitamin E.
Feeding recommendation: Regardless of weight, all dogs receive 1 treat daily. Recommended duration of use – initially up to 3 months.
