Doppelherz® for Animals Omega-3 Oil for Skin and Coat is a complementary feed for cats and dogs, combining high-quality oils and specially selected active ingredients to support skin function in cases of dermatosis and severe hair loss:
- The essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in salmon oil, evening primrose oil, and borage oil strengthen the stability of cell membranes and have a positive effect on inflammatory processes.
- Brewer's yeast is a natural source of biotin and other B vitamins. Biotin supports the growth and regeneration of skin and coat cells and aids in the synthesis of the protein keratin – a key element in hair structure formation.
- Zinc participates in the process of cell division and regeneration. It also contributes to the normal condition of skin and nails.
- Vitamins E and A support the skin's natural regenerative capacity and contribute to cell protection.
- The active ingredient in turmeric (Curcuma longa) is curcumin. A number of studies investigate its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties for joint and skin problems.
Analytical constituents: Crude protein 0.97%, crude fat 94.5%, crude fiber 0.75%, crude ash 1.2%, linoleic acid 133 g/kg, total eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid 51 g/kg.
Composition: Salmon oil (86.8%), evening primrose oil (4.6%), borage oil (4%), brewer's yeast (2.2%).
Additives per kg: Vitamins: biotin (3a880) 165 mg, vitamin E (3a700) 11100 mg, vitamin A (3a672a) 20720 I.U.; trace elements: zinc (3b609) 1100 mg; flavoring: turmeric extract 550 mg.
High content of linoleic acid (LA) and total eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
Feeding recommendation: To dissolve all solid substances, please shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
Dosage:
Cats and dogs up to 10 kg – 5 ml (1 tsp)
Dogs up to 25 kg – 10 ml (2 tsp)
Dogs over 25 kg – 15 ml (3 tsp)
If your pet has not previously received a complementary feed containing oils, the daily amount should be increased to the recommended amount over one week.
Recommended duration of use: initially up to 2 months. It is recommended to seek veterinary advice before use.
The maximum content of 10% of the total daily ration should not be exceeded, due to the increased zinc content. Please provide free access to water. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place, protected from light.
