It is recommended to seek advice from a veterinarian before using Happy Dog VET Diet Renal or before extending the feeding period. For optimal results, dogs should be fed only this food. Giving additional/non-therapeutic/food should be discussed with the treating veterinarian. Unless otherwise recommended by your veterinarian, offer your dog several meals a day. The amount of food should be adapted to your dog's individual metabolism and may need to be moderately reduced or increased. Water must be available at all times. The recommended feeding period for Happy Dog VET Diet Renal is initially up to six months in cases of chronic renal failure. If the food is recommended for temporary renal failure, the recommended feeding period is two to four weeks.
