Prescription Diet™ Canine l/d™ is a complete dietary food for dogs for the support of liver function in liver diseases. Moderate levels of protein (high quality). High content of essential fatty acids. Easily digestible carbohydrates. Low copper content.
Main characteristics:
- Reduces liver load. Reduces the accumulation of ammonia and subsequent CNS signs (hepatic encephalopathy)
- Reduces the risk of insufficiency associated with liver disorders.
- Reduces copper accumulation in the liver.
- Helps improve fat metabolism. Limits hepatic lipidosis.
- Avoids potassium loss, which can cause CNS signs.
