Water temperature cooling by 2 – 4 °C: cooling fan with fans for aquariums
Easy to install on the aquarium: max. 2.5 cm thickness. Switch on with a switch on the housing
Water cooling by air flow on the water surface, evaporation of warm water. Expandable with JBL CoolControl
Safety: 12 V low voltage, safety net. Universal power supply for all common mains voltages worldwide
Temperature Control
There are two important factors that influence the water temperature in the aquarium: first, room temperature and second, direct sunlight. If the room temperature in summer increases significantly, it is important to regularly check the temperature in the aquarium. It should be 24-26 °C. Temperatures above 30 °C are a problem and can cause significant damage to fish and plants. Furthermore, aquariums should never be exposed to direct sunlight. The higher the temperature, the less dissolved oxygen, which is vital for animals, becomes.
Easy to install
The clip of the cooling fan is placed on the edge of the aquarium (up to a maximum of 2.5 cm thickness) and secured with screws.
Cooling by evaporation
The JBL cooler for fresh water and salt water is cooled by 2-4 °C using the fans. The fan causes the warm water to evaporate on the water surface and thus generates cold. Comparable to the evaporative cooling of a wet body part exposed to the wind.
