Immediately removes (in just 10 min.) toxic substances such as ammonia (NH3), nitrite (NO2), chloride, and chloramine from fresh and saltwater.
By removing ammonia, it reduces the formation of nitrites and nitrates. Binds heavy metals such as copper and lead. Stabilizes carbonate hardness (KH).
The safe dose is five times higher than recommended.
Very high capacity: 10 ml binds 30 mg of ammonia and 2 mg of chlorine.
