Ideal for fish, invertebrates, and plants: no unwanted pollutants are released into the water. Substrate is an important part of aquarium components, as many animals dig in the ground to search for food. Plants also need to be securely held and must absorb food from the ground through their roots.
Usage:
Rinse the substrate with tap water to remove any abrasion caused during transport. Place the substrate over the nutrient substrate (JBL AquaBasis) to stimulate plant growth (for vigorous growth, about 6-8 cm).

Exact amount of substrate: length (cm) x width (cm) : 140 = kg of substrate with a thickness of 5 cm.
