In cases where it is used for the prevention of heartworm disease and at the same time treatment against tapeworm is needed, the product can replace a monoproduct for the prevention of heartworm disease. For the treatment of Angiostrongylus vasorum infections, milbemycin oxime should be given four times at weekly intervals. It is recommended that when simultaneous treatment against cestodes is indicated, the product should be applied once and continued with a monoproduct containing only milbemycin oxime during the remaining three weeks of treatment. In endemic areas, applying the product every four weeks will prevent angiostrongylosis by reducing the immature adults (L5) and adult stages of the parasites, where concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated. For the treatment of Thelazia callipaeda, milbemycin oxime should be given as two treatments, seven days apart. Where concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated, the product can replace a monoproduct containing only milbemycin oxime.
ADVICE ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION: The product should be administered with or after food.
