Specific characteristics of RENAL RF 16: The highly reduced phosphorus content is essential for counteracting the onset of secondary hyperparathyroidism. Flavanols (polyphenols) have two main effects: they counteract the oxidative process and support renal circulation. High intake of omega-3 fatty acids supports glomerular filtration (anti-inflammatory action). Due to uremia, ulcers in the digestive system may be caused. Zeolite and fructo-oligosaccharides minimize the risk of digestive damage. Additional information: Dogs with renal failure have a reduced appetite and need tasty food. In addition, these are usually older animals. The antioxidant complex counteracts free radicals and their harmful effects.
