For accurate pH determination of water. Can be used for approximately 80 measurements.
To achieve a stable pH value, ensure that the carbonate hardness is maintained at least at 5o dKH. Otherwise, dangerous pH fluctuations may occur. Always check carbonate hardness with sera kH-Test before adjusting pH values. If necessary, use sera kH/pH-plus for aquariums or sera GH-KH pond for garden ponds to increase carbonate hardness to at least 4o dKH.
Then achieve the desired pH values using sera kH/pH-plus to increase or sera pH-minus to decrease the value. You can also use sera superactive blackpeat granulate for freshwater aquariums or sera biopeat granulate for ponds to lower the pH.
Your pet shop should be able to explain what pH values are suitable for your aquarium.
