The dosage is only two "tablets" per liter of water (for larger aquariums, 17 g per 50 L, and one package is sufficient for an aquarium with a volume of 100 liters), which can be placed in any small internal filter. They can also be placed in an external filter or used as a base under the substrate in the aquarium.
The activity of the bacteria decreases after one month, when cleaning the filter and with frequent water changes.
