Microencapsulated and concentrated insecticide with knockdown effect and residual effect against a wide range of insect pests.
Dual acting power
Vebi R&D laboratories created DK, a special microencapsulated insecticide formula, in 2007. Today, DK has an established, successful presence in many countries around the world.
DK 10.2 is characterized by being:
WATER-BASED
CONTAINS NO ALIPHATIC, CHLORINATED, OR AROMATIC SOLVENTS
WITH A MICROENCAPSULATED MEMBRANE FREE OF PETROLEUM DERIVATIVES
What is the advantage of the microencapsulation technology developed by Vebi Instituto Biochimico?
The Tetramethrin content causes immediate action and has the fastest knockdown effect of all known natural and synthetic pyrethroids. It is resistant to temperature changes, heat, and sunlight. It is suitable for dissolving in water.
The secret to the product's effectiveness lies in the microencapsulation of Cypermethrin, which, once applied, begins to be released after the water evaporates. Thanks to the microencapsulation technology, Cypermethrin is released slowly, which ensures the product's long residual effect.
Piperonyl butoxide is a synergistic component that enhances the action of the other active ingredients. It inhibits the oxidative activity of certain enzymes in the insect's body and is responsible for the better degradation of the insecticide molecules.
IN SHORT: Draker DK 10.2 is a 3-in-1 product: Firstly, Tetramethrin has an immediate knockdown effect, microencapsulated Cypermethrin prolongs this action, and Piperonyl butoxide enhances the action of these two active ingredients and allows for their better degradation.
COMPOSITION 100 grams of the product contain:
Cypermethrin (CAS No. 52315-07-8) 10 g
Tetramethrin (CAS No. 7696-12-0) 2 g
Piperonyl butoxide (CAS No. 51-03-6) 10 g
Complementary ingredients up to 100 g

DUAL ACTING POWER
Active ingredients
TETRAMETHRIN
Pyrethroid insecticide with fast knockdown and residual effect
CYPERMETHRIN
Pyrethroid insecticide with long-lasting residual effect
Piperonyl Butoxide
Synergistic substance.
Cypermethrin and Piperonyl Butoxide are contained in microcapsules, which are covered with a thin porous polymer film that:
Protects against degradation of active ingredients
Regulates the release of active ingredients
DK microcapsules are activated only after they have been sprayed into the environment. Once the water begins to evaporate, the active ingredients can be slowly released.
Has a residual effect
Microcapsules gradually decrease until the active ingredients are completely released.
1) Initial phase of action
DK 10.2 immediately creates an insect-free environment: Tetramethrin with Piperonyl Butoxide is fast-acting.
Knockdown effect
DK 10.2 in the initial phase has a strong knockdown with a visibly fast effect.
Activating effect
Insects tend to flee the treated environment and thus from their hiding places.
DK 10.2
Transforming insecticide
1) Microencapsulation phase
Controlled release
Cypermethrin and Piperonyl Butoxide are microencapsulated. This technology allows the formula to increase the product's longevity by regulating the release of the active ingredients.
No repellent effect
The microcapsules combine irritating and repellent active ingredients without repelling insects and without harming the environment. This allows insects not to detect the presence of Cypermethrin and not to flee the treated area, leading to their destruction.
With immediate residual effect
Microcapsules reduce the degradation of Cypermethrin caused by ultraviolet rays (UV), temperature, and humidity. Tests show that DK's effectiveness exceeds one month, depending on climatic conditions.
