Instructions for use: give freely. Follow the advice for gradual transition to the new food in the table on the packaging. Preparatory phase: For small bird species (canaries, exotic finches, British finches, parakeets), it is recommended to start with preparation for food change. Birds are not forced to eat pellets, but are taught to recognize them as one of the elements of their food. For 2-3 weeks, they receive their usual seed mix, to which 10% pellets are added. For large and medium parrots, this preparatory phase is not necessary. Transition: Birds receive only pellets throughout the period, without mixing with seeds. On certain days (see table), seeds are given for them to eat freely. The periods of feeding only pellets are gradually increased so that the birds get used to consuming more of them. "Seed days" are included to prevent significant weight loss in birds and to allow them to recover the energy they lost during "pellet days".
General advice: Change food only for birds in good health. Do not switch directly to granulated food for newly purchased birds. Be careful and observe your birds well. Make sure that no seeds are left on the cage floor during "pellet days".
