YELLOW COLORANT
YEL-LUX helps enhance the yellow coloration of your birds. Regular use promotes beautiful and uniform yellow plumage. Good hereditary coloring qualities and proper yellow pigment administration while feathers develop contribute to optimal yellow coloration in birds. When breeding yellow canaries, we recommend giving Yel-lux to adult birds two weeks before the first eggs are laid. This way, you will achieve a beautiful, rich, and uniform yellow coloration of the feathers. Yel-lux has the same color-enhancing effect on other birds with yellow body feathers.
Yel-lux is administered with soft food. It is also recommended to administer Yel-lux outside the breeding season to maintain a rich and uniform yellow coloration.
How to administer?
- 1 measuring spoon = 5 g from a 200 g package
5 g (1 level measuring spoon) per 500 g of egg food
When to use?
- during the breeding season: daily, starting 2 weeks
- before the first eggs are laid
- during molting: daily throughout the molting period
- for show birds: daily throughout the year
