There is no universal medicine that protects a damaged liver. There are, however, ingredients – natural and synthetic – that can selectively stimulate metabolic processes occurring in hepatocytes or in the entire liver.
Composition:
- Milk Thistle (source of silymarin) – strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action, as well as choleretic action
- Artichoke increases bile excretion, increases the amount of bile acids in the bile and stimulates its passage through the bile duct. It has hepatoprotective action and stabilizes the metabolism of cholesterol and fatty acids
- Betaine can inhibit or even restore liver cell damage, especially when lipidosis has already occurred.
- L-carnitine supports the oxidation of fatty acids in energy production, which prevents their accumulation in hepatocytes and the development of liver lipidosis.
- Choline chloride – participates in the metabolism of fatty acids by facilitating the transport of fats and cholesterol. It is also a substrate for the synthesis of betaine and S-adenosylmethionine. Prevents liver lipidosis.
