Milpro® is a broad-spectrum deworming product – against roundworms and tapeworms
Each tablet contains:
Active substances: Milbemycin oxime 4 mg, Praziquantel 10 mg
Film-coated tablet. The tablets are oval, red to pink, meat-flavored, with a score line on both sides. The tablets can be divided in half.
Therapeutic indications: in cats for the treatment of mixed infections caused by adult cestodes (flatworms) and their immature forms: Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp. and adult nematodes (roundworms) of the following species: Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Toxocara cati. Prevention of dirofilariasis (Dirofilaria immitis), if concomitant treatment against cestodes is indicated.
Contraindications: Do not use in kittens younger than 6 weeks and weighing less than 0.5 kg. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
Method of administration and dosage:
For oral administration. Animals should be weighed to ensure accurate dosing. The minimum recommended dose is: 2 mg milbemycin oxime and 5 mg praziquantel per kg body weight orally once daily as a single dose. The product can be administered with food or after feeding. The product is in the form of a small tablet. For easier administration, the product is meat-flavored. The tablets can be divided in half.
