Von BARF Professional is a complete meal to which nothing else should be added. It is intended for feeding adult dogs and growing dogs. It is a rich source of proteins and essential amino acids, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals, all preserved in their natural form.
Ingredients: 55% lamb meat (30% lamb meat, 10% lamb tripe, 10% lamb bone paste, 5% lamb heart and liver), 35% beef (30% beef, 5% beef tripe), 10% vegetables
The amount of food needed for one meal should be thawed and served at room temperature. This food should not be exposed to high temperatures, cooked, or heated in a microwave oven.
Thawed BARF can be stored in the refrigerator for 24 hours. A meal taken out of the refrigerator should also be served when it has warmed to room temperature.
Adult healthy dogs are recommended to be fed once a day. If the dog is accustomed to eating 2-3 meals a day, it can continue with this rhythm.
Puppies, bitches in advanced stages of pregnancy and lactation, and dogs with health problems are usually fed several times a day.
The amount of food depends on the dog's body weight, activity, and age. The food should be 2-5% of body weight; for an adult dog, it is usually around 2% of body weight.
It is recommended to weigh the dog before starting a BARF diet and 2 to 3 weeks afterward. Depending on what you want to achieve (weight maintenance, weight loss, weight gain), adjust the daily ration.
